We asked neuroscientist Dr Tara Swart to share some easy ways to rejuvenate your brain and body for spring and wow, did she deliver.
The main message? To focus on the quality and diversity of your gut bacteria through sleeping well, eating a nutrition-dense diet, staying hydrated, breathing deeply, doing some exercise, and bringing an element of mindfulness into daily life.
Focus on making micro changes. Drink an extra glass of water. Eat some fermented foods. Walk outdoors more than usual. Or go to bed half an hour earlier.
