Hi Suranne, tell us about you and your work…
I’m an actress, producer, and a managing director of Tea Makers productions with my husband. I’ve been an actor all my life and I’ve been on the telly for over twenty years. I started on Coronation Street but I have been doing this professionally since I was sixteen. There is never a day that is the same. I’m either working in an office in town with different groups, development work or I will be in photoshoots, doing press or I will be on set. I’m away from my family a lot but I take big breaks to come back to London and then I’ll have the whole summer off to be with my family. It’s a very challenging life but one that fills me with absolute joy.
How did you hear about Symprove and how long have you been taking it?
I first heard about it on social media, and then a costume/makeup girl that I used to work with, who was a rep for Symprove, absolutely swore by it. I then went to Fearne Cottons’ Happy Place Festival and there was a Symprove stall there. It was at that point I thought, “right I need to know what this is about” and out of the blue, that’s when Symprove approached me… the universe was aligned! I have now been taking it for six weeks.
What does your morning routine look like?
I get up, take Symprove, wait ten minutes, drink a big glass of water then I usually have a coffee, a meditation, and a small stretch if that’s all I really have time for. Otherwise, I would probably do yoga or I’d get on the running machine and then do a stretch out, and some weights on alternate days. If I’m away with my family like I am now, I’d just go for a long dog walk and then we get on with our day. If we’re in London, I take my boy to school with the dog, to get the dog walking as well… multitask!
Where did your interest in gut health start?
I’ve always been into alternative care, whether that be therapy, yoga, movement, mediations and self care. I’ve read over the years about the alignment with the gut and the mind and how the body feels. I suffer with anxiety so that is really important to me.
Top tips for looking after physical health?
Move everyday. I don’t have much choice with a seven year old and dogs. Also, meditate every day and try to eat well. That’s not to say that I don’t eat sugar because I do and it’s one of my biggest downfalls because I do have a sweet tooth. The older I’ve got, the sweeter it’s got...
Original, Mango & Passion Fruit or Strawberry & Raspberry?
I’ve only tried the Mango & Passion Fruit, which I like because it feels very fresh and citrusy.
Describe Symprove in 3 words...
Easy, fast routine, energy.
Thanks, Suranne.
