Bursting with vibrant fruit flavours and billions of good bacteria for your gut
This big news deserves a drumroll… We’re super excited to introduce our brand-new Strawberry & Raspberry flavour to the Symprove line up.We heard on the grapevine that some of our sweet-toothed fans were requesting a fruitier flavour, so we set about making one. We aim to please you see.
If you didn’t already know, Symprove HQ is based on a farm in Farnham, surrounded by nature wherever you look, with our product mirroring that in its use of natural ingredients. Our founder, Barry, is known for his love of the outdoors and can often be found tending to his fruit and veg patch in his allotment, which in the summer is absolutely bursting with vibrant strawberries and raspberries. If you’re lucky enough to be there at the right time, you may even get to sample the goods – which is exactly where our product development journey started.
Led by our New Product Manager Victoria and perfected in our labs, the process has involved in-depth work finding the right berry flavour, the vibrant red colour, and has undergone rigorous taste tests.
Victoria’s sipped over a hundred shots while honing the flavour and said “We wanted to create a fresh-fruit flavour, nothing confectionary, we wanted it to taste like fresh, ripe strawberries and raspberries. I think it’s a really good flavour that delivers something different to Mango & Passion Fruit and Original but is in keeping with the Symprove product family.”
In competition with Victoria for drinking the most shots of the new flavour is our Production Manager, Gary, who was critical in the process. “It’s taken about 8 months to develop as we needed to do extensive shelf-life trials to ensure that the bacteria are good throughout.”
“I think it’s a fantastic addition to the range mainly because I think it’ll be nice for kids. It’s certainly more palatable – also my wife loves it! She’s already asking for some at home.”
